Pros & Cons
Drop Ins Require Drilling and Installation to your bed.
LINE-X requires spraying a coat over these holes and metal subject to rust.
Durability of LINE-X is much better than the durability of a Drop In. What are you going to do if you are going down that trail and all of a sudden your drop in decides to drop out of your truck because your tailgate is down. You do not have this problem with a spray on.
Drop-Ins are plastic and cut easily along with just looking bad.
